I'm so excited for California's Strongest Woman. I'm not even sure yet that I'll be in shape to compete in the events, but I figured there's no better time to start training than right now. Given that I'm about to travel for 10 days, I'm going to get going on plain old foundational strength, just rebuilding my base of overhead pressing, pulling, squatting, deadlifting and carrying. When I get back from the holidays I'll re-evaluate and see what I can do at FUELhouse, even though we don't have too many implements to work with. Time to get creative and get STRONG again.
Light Strict Presses, 5x35, 5x35, 3x45, 5x45, 5x55, 8x60
Between presses I did lots of activation work - bottoms up kb walks, bird-dogs, etc
5 rounds NFT: 10 TRX rows, 5 ring dips (assisted with medium band, these felt great on my shoulders), 1 3-position snatch with 75#.
